GQA Level 1 Award in Construction Health and Safety (CSCS Qualification)

Purpose and Scope

This qualification is designed to:

  • Certify that individuals have the knowledge required to work safely in a construction
    environment.
  • Fulfil the CSCS requirements for the General Construction Site Labourer’s card.
  • Support both new entrants and those already employed in construction, including
    apprentices.

    recommended).
