What is the Fire Marshal Course?
The Level 2 Award in Principles of Fire and the Role of the Fire Marshal is a nationally recognised qualification that equips delegates with the knowledge and skills to act as a fire marshal or fire warden in the workplace. It is mandatory on most UK construction sites and required by law under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
The course covers fire behaviour, fire prevention, evacuation procedures and the specific responsibilities of a designated fire marshal. On successful completion, delegates receive a Level 2 award certificate recognised by CITB and across the UK construction industry.
